Globe Valves

Globe valves throttle and shut off the flow in a line by lifting a disc onto a seat, so flow can be finely controlled or stopped where the plant needs it.

Right Angle Valves

Right angle valves control the flow while turning it through a right angle, so a line can be controlled and turned at the same point to save fittings.

View right angle valves

Oblique Valves

Oblique valves set the seat at an angle so the flow passes smoothly with little loss, controlling the flow while keeping the pressure drop low.

View oblique valves

Pulp Valves

Pulp valves control the flow of thick fibrous sugar liquids using an open passage that does not jam on the fibre, so pulpy liquids are controlled cleanly.

View pulp valves

Double Beat Valves

Double beat valves use two seats so the flow balances across them, which makes the valve easy to open and close even under a high flow or pressure.

View double beat valves

Pop Up Valves

Pop up valves lift quickly to release a flow when it is called for, so a batch or a build up can be let go cleanly and then shut again.

Foot Valve

A foot valve sits at the foot of a pump suction line and holds the liquid in, so the pump stays primed and does not lose its liquid when it stops.

Plunger Valves

Plunger valves control and shut off the flow with a plunger that moves into a seat, giving firm control and a tight shut off on demanding lines.

View plunger valves

Butterfly Valves

Butterfly valves control the flow with a disc that turns across the line in a compact body, so large lines are opened, throttled, or shut in little space.

View butterfly valves

Non Return Valve

A non return valve lets the flow pass one way and closes to stop it flowing back, so the process is protected from backflow that would upset it.

Crown Pinions

Crown pinions are heavy gears that carry the drive to the mill rollers, so the great turning force needed to crush cane is passed to the rollers.

Trash Beam

A trash beam guides the cane blanket as it passes through the mill rollers, so the cane is fed evenly and the juice is squeezed out cleanly.

View trash beam

Sprockets

Sprockets are toothed wheels that mesh with the carrier chains to drive them, so cane, bagasse, and other material is moved along the carriers.

View sprockets

Bagasse Carrier

A bagasse carrier moves the bagasse left after crushing from the mill to the boiler, so the fibre is carried steadily to be burned for steam.

Scraper Plates

Scraper plates sit against a moving surface to scrape off the sticky build up that gathers on it, so rollers and drums stay clean and work well.

Continuous Sugar Melter

A continuous sugar melter dissolves sugar into liquor in a steady flowing stream rather than in batches, so melting keeps pace with a continuous process.

Centralized Lubrication System

A centralized lubrication system feeds oil or grease to many points from one place, so every bearing gets the right amount of lubricant without hand oiling.

Roller Conveyor

A roller conveyor moves bags and loads along a line of turning rollers, so filled sugar bags and other loads are moved easily from one point to another.

Pan Feed Box

A pan feed box feeds the syrup, molasses or magma into a vacuum pan and spreads it so the pan boils evenly.
